This project takes a look at the rapid rise in Web3 technologies, and identifies how the existing digital divide will play a key role in how various low-income communities will be affected by this technological change. From education to job opportunities and beyond, individuals who are affected will happen to find themselves falling behind if they do not have the resources to learn and keep up with the changes.
In this project, I outline the issues from a socioeconomic lense and provide a way through which education around Web3 technologies could be amplified to support students from lower-socioeconomic backgrounds currently enrolled in charter and public school systems.
Section 1 gives a thorough outline of the audience, vision, mission, and workflow of the program. It takes into account the findings from qualitative and quantitative research that was done.
Section 2 and Section 3 is a culmination of data findings and graphs created throughout this project to analyze the current societal makeup of Web3 across educational and corporate institutions.
