I am was the social intern at Pluralist -- a politics and news platform under the global media company Minute Media. My internship role at this company has given me the opportunity to not only step foot into social media marketing, but also the chance to work on my graphics and design skills.
I have been creating social graphics for Pluralist and have really helped boost their social media presence. My templates have been making use of Pluralist's brand colors and have brightened the way Pluralist's audiences receive their information through visual designs.
When I first joined the Pluralist team, the major concern was that the social media graphics were not visually appealing. The use of gradients on the graphics were excessive and the wording on the visuals were unclear. Sometimes, the graphics were also very plain and unattractive with a simple white background.
(Examples shown below.)

After playing around with the color scheme that Pluralist's brand book suggested, I created new graphics that really brought out variation in the way that the information was presented.

Not only are these designs keeping the idea of having a white background with text, it makes use of the Pluralist logo in certain instances and also is more appealing to the eyes.
