ART Jam is a quickly drafted Artificial Reality project that three of my college classmates and I put together during the start of COVID. The name of the project is a combination of the term "AR" and all of our names combined (Tina, Janane, Adam, and Michelle).
Although initially proposed as an AR project, we decided to use VR for our implementation instead, as we realized that our ideas and interaction techniques would be better suited for a fully immersive VR environment.
The purpose of ARTJam is to provide users the comfort of attending an art gallery from the comfort of their homes during a global pandemic. Through the use of AR/VR, users would be able to walk through the gallery and manipulate priceless art simply through a lense.

WALKTHROUGH
- Once inside the gallery, user can walk around and pick up various 3D objects.
- The object can then be touched to any painting in the gallery to transfer the style of the painting onto the object itself
- Different objects can also be touched together to transfer styles onto each other.
- A world in miniature map allows users know where they are in relation to the larger gallery layout.
- Selecting a painting opens up a description panel to provide users with a brief history lesson on the painting.
